Our style Our custom Portrait Sessions are a unique and personalized experience. As parents ourselves, we know the importance of preserving your family’s most precious moments. We strive to make our photo shoots relaxed, spontaneous, and fun! Children are encouraged to move around, play, and be silly! With an eye for perfect moments and unique perspectives, we create child and family portraits that are beautiful, genuine, and emotional. Sophie helps with styling and tickling, while Michael has the expertise in artful lighting and retouching to bring out the best in your portraits. We love getting to know each of our clients, and creating one-of-a-kind art that you will treasure forever.  

Scheduling It’s never too early to book! Sessions fill up quickly, and it’s always best to contact us as soon as possible for an appointment.  

How long will your session last? Sessions typically last 45 min- 1 hour. We encourage you to bring along a change of outfit or accessories to add variety to your child’s portraits. We’ll move around to different settings, while capturing a variety of posed and candid portraits. Our spontaneous and silly approach allows us to capture those unexpected moments that become the most beautiful, meaningful portraits.  

What to wear?
Clothing is a key element for beautiful, timeless portraits. We recommend simple, classic apparel that reflects your style. We love neutrals, creams and soft pastels. Have fun with accessories and layers to add dimension to your portraits. Rich textures, layers, simple patterns, chunky jewelry, belts, scarves, headbands, ruffles and buckles… the possibilities are endless! Coordinate your outfits with a palette of complementary colors for family portraits. There are so many awesome children’s clothing brands, but some of our favorites are H&M, JCrew, Gap, Oilily, and Janie & Jack. We always encourage getting creative with fairy wings, rubber rain boots, stylish hats, and funky headbands. Bare feet are always preferred!
